Mountain`s top

 

Last weekend I was in the Alpes and today I'll share all these moments with you.
Maybe you know that I'm a total amateur with the snowboard and it need a lot of practice until I'll drive like I want.
Therfore I decided to take the chair lift after having paid my ski pass. It have taken its time until the finish. At the finish line I have been relaxed because in another ski - area I'd already had a lot of practise with it. Nevertheless I didn't recodnice that I had to alight and than suddenly the ground was lower than one meter before. The result was that I was falling out the chair lift and had tried to be an acrobat so that the chair wouldn't hit my head.
Subsequently somebody told me this piste was a black one. For a beginner the best (not).
Another memorie I had at the button lift. It's really difficult for a beginner to go by them on top. Especially for a snowboard beginner. It needed around one hour to go on the top, because I plunged frequently out of it. Sometimes I had to walk down or ride down when the piste is beside the button lift.

If anybody read this and had experienced a simular situation with a lift , please write a comment. 

Furthermore I was at the mountain's top. The feeling to be the hero over the landscape was amazing and the view either. When I was sitting there beside the summit cross, I had plenty of time to order my thoughts. Thinking about the past, the present and what will happen in the future reminded me that the landscape is a part of our lives.

It's like the alpes represent your life 

with deeps and tops.

 nobody knows what will happen 

and in front of you one challenge.

I think that little text could be a nice quote for this special moment in the alpes. I invented that while I was sitting there on the mountains top with its descent to vale as challenge for this moment.

The TRY: Snowboarding

Maybe you remameber that I've written a New Year's Goals List 2016 at the start of this year. I've told you that one Point of aims for me is to learn to ride a Snowboard. Last week I had this Chance and would like to share my experience with everyone who is reading this post.

The Ski camp for the whole grade was in Südtirol(south tyrol), it's the northern part from Italy. The drive to that place was Long, because our bus was Standing in traffic jams for around three hours at the German - Austria border. The Hotel we stayed was ok, but the meals they cooked tasted really good. So that it doesn't matter how the Hotel is looking, when the Food is great, everything is great.

So let's talk about the Sport aspect. Have you ever done a beginner's Course in Skiing or Snowboarding? I've do both. Ski Course was five years ago, but after this I haven't stand up on Ski again.

When you a break before you've starded snowboarding

To begin ride a Snowboard is really exhausting. I have no pictures where I'm trying to ride this board. Luckily I don't know how it must be looking when I've fallen down the ground all day Long, all day Long the same Thing. Ride around four meters, than trying to do a carve and fail. Stand up and the last sentence will be repeated. I was such unmotivated after four days, everything hurt you.You will have such an aching at the belly and your tights. Nevertheless not only the aching is hurting, you also have big blue bruises. I have had bruises at my knees and at my butt. Please guys, don't laugh at this Point. Six days in a row snowboarding for a beginner may is not the best idea ever.

However, I'll practise snowboarding in the new future. I love it with all that hurt at the beginning, it is a lot of fun whenever you are Standing longer than five meters on the board and ride it. A Problem was that I've drived really slowly, because I didn't want to fall down. Exactly that was the fault I made.

The weather there was variable, one day we had around fifteen degrees celcius, another around zero degrees celcius.

All in All that Ski camp was a great experience and I'll never Forget the memories.

It's finally winter in Germany !

Everyone asked themselves, when it will snow? One week ago, we couldn't believe that this week we have snow. One month ago. we couldn't believe that we will have a real winter with snow. In November the temperature was higher than in October. We hadn't believed all the time that it will snow in this term of the year.

Here the snow is Schnee and the snowflackes are Schneeflocken. Whenever it schneit (snows)and the White mantle is there for days, we Germans know: Now it's the cold wintertime. In the Picture it seems like the themperature hasn't minus degrees, because of the sun and the bright sky with Clouds.

At the Moment in my hometown we have minus eight degrees celcius. (That would be around 17 degrees in Fahrenheit)    

You think that isn't cold? Maybe at your place it's a lot more colder. The difference is, that we had last week around ten degrees warmer than now and we have to acclimate with the temperature. Nowadays I'm always feezing, so in the German language I'm frieren. The Thing is I've bought two years ago the warmest shoes in the store but in this winter my toes are cold also with warmen Socken(warm socks). I don't know maybe it's time for new winterboots called in Germany Winterstiefel or Winterschuhe.

I like the winter, because everything is white and is really beautiful with the mantle. Especially this one, because I will learn snowboarding in winter camp of School in a few weeks. I'm looking Forward to that. 

Some things I don't like so much in winter:

I don't know if you ever hear about Trains in Germany. The DeutscheBahn haven't the most punctual Trains. Especially in summer and winter the Trains have a lot more delay than in spring or autumn. It isn't seldom that whole Trains are canceld. One day I've spent around three hours at the Train Station waiting for my Train, because one after another was cancelled. That isn't so funny, when you want to be at home.

Everything is nass how we call it when something is wet. In busses or Trains you can't put your bag on the vehicle Floor, because than your bag will be wet and over with sald ( that you can use for the streets, cars can better drive) You have to look for where you are stay and sit, may that is wet and so your Jeans could be wet.

All in all I think every term of the year have good sides and not so good ones. I love them all, because the difference in the nature is so beautiful. Every one have Specials for us. What is your favourite term of the year? Let me know that.
